General & Usage
1. How often is the material updated?
Content is updated on a regular basis according to feedback from our community and in response to changes in South African medical exam guidelines.
2. How do I provide feedback on a question?
If you find a typo or wish to discuss an answer, please note the question reference number and send us an email at hello@fcprep.com or use our Contact page.
3. Can I access FCprep from multiple devices?
No. Accounts are for individual use only. You cannot be logged in on two devices at once. We recommend logging out of one device before logging into another to ensure your session remains secure.
Account & Security
4. What registration details are mandatory?
To ensure platform integrity, users must provide a valid HPCSA registration number and a valid cellular phone number during registration.
5. Can I use a VPN or proxy server?
No. The use of VPNs, proxy servers, or 'burner' email addresses is strictly prohibited. Use of these tools will result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Can I save or print the study materials?
No. Printing, saving, copying, or screen capturing FCPrep materials is strictly prohibited. Our system monitors for content capture attempts, which will lead to immediate account suspension and potential legal action.
Subscriptions & Payments
7. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure third-party payment gateway. We generally do not accept internationally-issued debit cards or American Express.
8. Is my payment and personal information secure?
Yes. We comply with POPIA regulations. We do not store your credit card details; all financial transactions are processed by encrypted third-party providers.
9. Can I cancel and get a refund?
FCPrep operates a strict no-refund policy. As our services are digital and delivered immediately upon payment, all sales are final. Additionally, subscriptions cannot be paused or suspended for later use.
10. What should I do if my card is declined?
Declines often happen due to daily limits or incorrect CCV/Expiry details. Please contact your bank to authorize the transaction or clear any blocks before trying again.
Platform Policies
11. What is the policy on staff communication?
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, harassing, or intimidating communication. Any such behavior will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the platform without a refund.
12. Can I rely solely on this for clinical practice?
No. FCPrep is an educational revision tool provided on an "as is" basis. It is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. Always verify protocols and dosages with your official local health formularies.
