FC Rad Diag (SA) PART II EXAM OVERVIEW:
3 online written papers:
- Paper 1 (200 marks) SAQ over 3 hours and 45 minutes;
- Paper 2 (100 marks) 100 SBA over 3 hours;
- Paper 3 (100 marks) 100 SBA over 3 hours;
- Rapid reporting session;
- Two orals.
The Modified Anghoff method of standard setting is used for the Single Best Answer (SBA) component of the FC Rad Diag (SA) Part II written examination.
The Long Case Reporting and Clinical Oral examinations rotation will be as follows:
From the second semester 2015 a combined average of 50% for the papers AND 70% for the Rapid Reporting paper is necessary for an invitation to the oral/clinical examination.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 36 months in a numbered registrar training post, including 3 months in isotopes.
- Portfolio.
